De reis naar Uyuni gaat in een slaapbus met airconditioning, dekens, badkamer aan boord en assistentie.

Uyuni
De aankomst in Uyuni is 07:00 uur, bij aankomst wacht ons werkteam op u voor het ophalen en overbrengen naar onze faciliteiten, waar u kunt genieten van een welkomstontbijt en ook een warme douche kunt nemen, voordat u aan de tour.
Vertrek om 10.30 uur, bezoek de treinbegraafplaats op 5 minuten van Uyuni, daarna bezoeken we Colchani, waar we het handmatige proces van de zout- en zouthandwerkwinkels, stapels zoutwinning, de dikte van het zout, de eerste zullen observeren zouthotel gebouwd van zoutblokken, we gaan verder naar het viseiland met duizendjarige en gigantische cactus, vanaf de top kunnen we de salar in zijn geheel waarderen, na de lunch komen we aan bij accommodatie in Uyuni, in een gedeelde kamer, waar u zult genieten een lokaal diner met de hele groep.

Vertrek vroeg in de ochtend om de geisers te zien met de zonsopgang, de warmwaterbronnen van de Polques-lagune, de Salvador Daly-woestijn, de groene lagune, de witte lagune en transfer naar San Pedro de Atacama, Chili, om 10.30 uur.

I was looking for an extra special tour to do with my girlfriend (now fiancé). I contacted 3 different tour operators as I wanted a good itinerary and price. Jose at Joker Expeditions is the best tour operator. Not only did he understand my needs he also was very personal organising our transfer to San Pedro Atacama. He booked our PCR tests, printed all documents for Chile immigration and transfer on the Chilean side. The accommodation that Jose was able to secure compared to the other companies was so much better to. Atipax hotel was the best room, bed and shower we have had in South America.
Tour: we were met at the airport by Isreal - very clear sign with name on it. We made our way to the car where we met Abel - our driver. The car was a newer Land cruiser which had been very well maintained. From the get go we could see Isreal and Abel were looking after us and doing everything they could to ensure we had the best experience.
They did everything to get quiet spots and make sure that they beat the other buses. We were told before that we had missed the opportunity of the mirror effect as it was May. Abel and Isreal made it happen - they said some drivers and tours know they have to drive a little further for the locations but we would do it. And it was worth it. We sat down to the most amazing sunset I have ever witnessed.
Without any further spoilers about the tour. I would 1000% recommend Joker expedition. Get in contact with Jose - he is super friendly and supportive if you need any assistance or help.
If you are lucky enough (or want to request Abel and/or Isreal) you will for sure have an amazing time in Bolivia.
Se quiserem visitar o deserto do Salar de Uyuni recomenda-se mais que esta agência, o guia Michael. Não é só uma visita ao deserto, conheces toda a parte sul da Bolívia e é uma forma simples de chegar ao Chile sem complicações (os guias ajudam em tudo e tratam das burocracias e transportes).
Por fim, o guia Michael apresentou-nos o seu país com uma atenção e carinho extraordinário.
