Vi njuter av en nattresa från La Paz till Uyuni, vid ankomsten efter en utsökt frukost besöker vi den stora Salar de Uyuni, Isla Incahuasi, och turnén slutar med en spektakulär solnedgång på salen i Uyuni och njuter av reflektion i vattnet. I slutet av Touren återvänder vi till La Paz i vår turistbuss för att resa ytterligare 8 timmar.

La Paz Department
30 min - Tjänsten startar kl. 19.00, med hämtning av kunder från hotellet i La Paz i privat mobilitet, för att flytta till bussterminalen och ta turistbussen som tar oss till Uyuni i 8 timmar.

Uyuni
8 hr - Ankomst till Uyuni nästa dag kl. 07.00 Vid ankomst kommer du att vänta på en privat mobilitet som tar oss till ett kafé för att njuta av en utsökt frukost, och även ett alternativ att ta en varm dusch.

Train Cemetery
30 min - Besök med fotostopp.

Colchani
30 min - Besök med fotostopp. Vi börjar cirka 10:00, i vår 4wd-bil och en professionell guide, och besöker tågkyrkogården innan vi beger oss till Great Salt Lake. Möt på vägen folket i Colchani, där vi kommer att se en hantverkssaltbearbetningsanläggning.

Salar de Uyuni
4 hr - Besök med fotostopp.

Isla Incahuasi
1 hr - Besök med fotostopp. Besök sedan Sal Flats, för att veta om vattenhål och för att observera hur saltet utvinns. Fortsätt sedan till Incahuasi Island (känd som Fish Island) där du kan observera den berömda jättekaktusen, och du kan njuta av en utsökt lunch. Lunch kommer att serveras mitt i Great Salt Lake, vid lämplig tidpunkt. Sedan åker vi till Coquesa och besöker mumigrottan, som ligger på sluttningarna av vulkanen Tunupa, där du kan se ett vackert landskap och njuta av skönheten i Great Uyuni Salt Flats.

A really good day!

Everything was perfect! We did the one day trek in the Uyuni salt flat and everything was perfectly organised down to the last detail. Our guide Ronald was very kind and attentive. We recommend it!

Amazing day trip to Uyuni from La Paz, outstanding service

We booked our salt flats tour via Viator and the overall experience was AMAZING. Few things in the beginning: in the ticket pick up time was 7pm but when we asked our hotel reception to call and confirm the pick up point, they told us that they will come at 8pm. So I would recommend calling them in the morning to confirm the pick up location and time. The driver arrived at 8pm and took us to the bus station. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour or so to get into the bus but after that everything was PERFECT! The bus was very comfy, big seats and they bend almost into a bed. There was also a toilet on the bus. When we arrived to Uyuni there was a driver to pick us up and took us to a hotel. At the hotel they gave us breakfeast and our own room so we could take a shower and rest for a bit. The tour started at 10am. It was so great!! We saw so much and the salt flats were amazing. We had our own car the whole time, so just us two + guide + driver. We had lunch in the middle of the salt flats (!!!) Super cool. Our guide and our driver were so nice. Our guide was amazing and spoke very good English. She told us also so much about Bolivian history. She took so many great pictures of us and we had so much fun. In the end of the tour we get to enjoy some local red wine with tapas and look at the sunset. Could have not asked for more. Then they drove us back to the bus station and in La Paz there was driver waiting to drive us back to the hotel. This experience was so great 5/5!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

Great tour, everything taken care of!

Our trip to Uyuni was made really convenient with Joker Expedition. They booked our overnight bus tickets to La Paz for us, picked us up directly from our hotel and guided us all the way onto the bus. The bus itself was really comfy, and the seats reclined basically into beds. We were picked up straight from the bus doors at Uyuni and taken to a nice hotel where we met Jose, the manager, and were given access to a room for a couple of hours whilst we waited for our tour to start at 10am. We were also given breakfast here. Our guide Israel collected us from this hotel lobby and took us around the Train Cemetery, the salt processing and the markets at Colchani and then onto the Salt Flats. Israel explained to us about how the flats were formed and also described how the locals process salt. We had a really nice lunch in a secluded spot on the salt flats and then Israel helped us take lots of fun photos with the perspective! After lunch we did a hike of the Incahuasi island which had amazing panoramas across the flats at the top. Even though it was the dry season when we were there, Israel knew where there was still some water left at the south of the flats so we were lucky enough to enjoy the reflections as well, with cheese and wine at sunset! We were taken back to the room we had in the hotel to wait an hour for our bus and then transferred to the station and back to our hotel at the other end. Overall, a really easy and comfortable way to see the salt flats in a day with a great guide and lots of small touches that created an amazing experience!

One day trip to the salt flats

We did the one day trip from La Paz to Uyuni to visit the salt flats. Had the best time. Our driver and tour guide Al were incredible, and made the experience even more unboliviable. Couldn’t recomend the company enough. Great value for money.

Great Day at Uyuni

We had a wonderful day on Uyuni with Juan Carlos and Constantio the driver Entire trip LaPaz -Uyuni -LaPaz was flawlessly organized with every little detail carefully considered. Nice surprises not mentioned in trip description contribute to the unforgettable memories from Uyuni. Our guide Juan Carlos had profound knowledge of Bolivian culture, history and folklore which expanded from ancient centuries to contemporary times. Highly recommended tour. One hiccup at the end - no taxi at the bus station at 6:00 am next morning - luckily hotel was close
