The Amazing Copacabana
When I have visited Copacabana in Bolivia I had not thought to find something so beautiful. In Copacabana, the community the people were so generous and the Titicaca Lake was so amazing that I had opportunity to enjoy it by boat travel and hike to Calvario Mountain were the view was spectecular. Thank you MAPAMUNDI GO for that beautiful experience!!! :D
Copacabana linda!
É bem demorado pra chegar, em torno de 3, 4h mas é super compensador. O passeio de barco é muito gostoso e dura 45min. O passeio na ilha é meio corrido. Leve snacks, agua e protetor solar.
Diamond in the rough
Its a long journey, a lot of time on a bus but some of the scenery is outstanding. Be careful if you’re prone to altitude sickness as parts of the journey must be well over 5000 metres. Copacabana, though not patch on its more famous cousin is a cracking little oasis. I must add we were lucky - the weather was fantastic. I can imagine it could be pretty unpleasant if the weather was bad. The whole experience was made better by our guide an chaperone, the wonderful Cristal, who is an absolute diamond. A nicer person you couldn’t wish to meet.

My guide was good but for 120 dollars that i paid, you can give me an option to pay more for a better spacr going back. Im 52 kilos and i was sitting for 3 hours in a mini van. I can’t even move. It was horrible! I asked the local lady besides me, how much was her fare. She said 20 pesos( a bit more than3 dollars)ill be more than happy to double or triple the amount if you give me an option.. going there with the bus is mych more relaxing
